VANGUARD FITNESS POWER BANDS

STRENGTH. MOBILITY. ASSISTANCE. ANYWHERE.

The Vanguard Fitness Power Bands are a simple but incredibly versatile addition to any home or commercial gym.

Use them for strength training, assisted pull-ups, mobility work, stretching, warm-ups, rehabilitation-style exercises and adding progressive resistance to traditional movements.

The continuous-loop design allows the bands to be used on their own or combined with racks, pull-up bars and other suitable gym equipment. With four band widths available, you can select the resistance level that best suits your exercise and training ability.

Built for regular gym use, Vanguard Fitness Power Bands are compact, portable and easy to incorporate into almost any workout.

Additional Information

WHY TRAIN WITH POWER BANDS?

PROGRESSIVE RESISTANCE

Resistance increases as the band stretches, making power bands useful for a wide variety of strength and conditioning exercises.

ASSISTED PULL-UPS

Loop a suitable band around a pull-up bar to reduce the effective load during pull-ups and help develop the strength required for unassisted repetitions.

STRENGTH TRAINING

Add band resistance to squats, presses, rows, deadlift variations and numerous other movements.

MOBILITY & WARM-UPS

Use lighter bands for shoulder mobility, activation exercises, dynamic warm-ups and stretching.

COMPACT & PORTABLE

Power bands take up virtually no gym floor space and can easily travel in a gym bag.

FAQ

What is a power band?
A power band is a continuous-loop resistance band used for strength exercises, assisted bodyweight movements, mobility work, stretching and warm-ups.

Are power bands the same as resistance bands?
Power bands are a type of resistance band. They are generally thicker continuous loops designed for strength, mobility and assisted exercises.

Which Vanguard Fitness Power Bands are available?
Fitness Network currently offers 13 mm, 21 mm, 29 mm and 45 mm variants.

Can I use a power band for assisted pull-ups?
Yes. Power bands are commonly used to provide assistance during pull-ups. The appropriate band depends on the user's bodyweight, strength and required assistance.

Can I exercise at home with resistance bands?
Yes. Their compact size makes power bands particularly useful for home training and travelling.

Can power bands be used for stretching?
Yes. Lighter resistance bands can be useful for mobility exercises and stretching.

Can I attach a power band to a power rack?
Power bands can be incorporated into many rack-based exercises where the rack and anchor point are suitable for band training.

Which size should a beginner choose?
There isn't one universal choice because the appropriate resistance depends on the exercise. A lighter band may be appropriate for mobility exercises, while assisted pull-ups may require considerably more resistance.
