The Bumper Plate Weightlifting Disc, black : With rubber coating / black Bumper Plate weightlifting disc is made of solid rubber. It incorporates a steel ring in its centre, giving it exceptional strength. This rubber protection enables the disc to withstand falls without sustaining damage. What's more, this coating considerably reduces noise when weights are deposited, compared with conventional cast-iron discs. We recommend using the 5 kg model only in combination with other discs weighing 10 kg or more, as it is not designed to withstand bar load or drop impacts on its own.
